My commute to and from work has been quite difficult lately: there are road works on the one and only road between the town where I live and the town where I work. It's quite annoying to have to sit in such slow moving traffic every morning and every afternoon considering we moved here to get away from the big city and its evils such as traffic.
I must say though that if the company doing the construction cannot even label its construction vehicles properly, I have very little faith in them building our roads and bridges!

You may have not faith, but my faith in Africa is at least rejuvenated ...
Jabulani being African is in my blood, but I know that things do not get done properly around here. Sometimes it's just amusing how obvious it is.
Amanzimtoti, Africa and how she works (or more correctly doesn't!), is hugely amusing. I lived in Joeys for the first 20 years of my life, and whilst not African-born, she certainly seeped thru' my baby skin and shaped me into an African not a Pommy (much to the disgust of my parents and the relief of a certain surgeon!). Consequently, I suffer no illusions about her machinations.
A previous post of yours prompted me to blog about insurance; this post prompts me to write about an encounter we had at the Swazi border ... un-be-liev-able!! I've just remembered it, so thank you for making me chuckle yet again. (If you don't mind, I'll link mine to this post of yours.)
